For the love of Matcha
Matcha Sets
Discover our curated, limited edition Matcha Sets- we have you covered from premium rituals, thoughtful gifts, to matcha on the go.
There is no doubt Australia loves matcha- not just the flavour, but the whole experience.
Create your own matcha ritual with our curated collection of authentic matcha bowls (chawan), traditional bamboo whisks (chasen), and perfect-portion spoons (chashaku).
Crafted for both beginners and connoisseurs, these essentials help you achieve that signature, velvety-smooth froth every single time.
Choose Your Chawan
The chawan (matcha bowl) sits at the heart of the matcha ritual. More than simply a vessel, it influences how the tea is prepared, held, and enjoyed.
At Mitsuya Home, we’ve curated a range of styles to appeal to different people. The "right" chawan is often the one you want to reach for every day—a bowl that makes the simple act of preparing tea feel a little more special.
Create Your Kit
At Mitsuya Home, we believe everyday rituals deserve beautiful tools.
Measuring the powder, sifting it carefully, whisking it by hand, and watching the vibrant green tea come to life becomes a ritual in itself.
More for the tea-lovers
Beyond matcha, the time it takes to prepare and brew a pot or cup of tea is precious.
Explore our range of beautiful tea products- the ever popular Hakusan Bloom cups, IROHA teapots and accessories such as tea cloths and silver tea scoops.
Over time, these small details become part of the experience itself, turning everyday routines into meaningful rituals that invite you to slow down, savour the moment, and find pleasure in the process as much as the tea.
Why we chose it
We chose this teapot for the way it brings meaning into daily use. The cobalt motifs are simple but symbolic: the circle suggests continuity and harmony, while the chrysanthemum is associated with longevity and renewal. It feels traditional without being formal, making it easy to use every day.
About the designs
The Circle (Maru / En): Represents infinity, completeness, and smooth relationships. It signifies a life without sharp edges or disruptions, symbolizing a smooth, continuous path of good health and family harmony.
The Chrysanthemum (Kiku): Represents longevity, rejuvenation, and noble character. When painted on everyday objects it acted as a protective charm, wishing the diner a long, healthy life and prosperity.
