IROHA Teapot

$84.00

Why we chose it

We chose this teapot for the way it brings meaning into daily use. The cobalt motifs are simple but symbolic: the circle suggests continuity and harmony, while the chrysanthemum is associated with longevity and renewal. It feels traditional without being formal, making it easy to use every day.

About the designs

  • The Circle (Maru / En): Represents infinity, completeness, and smooth relationships. It signifies a life without sharp edges or disruptions, symbolizing a smooth, continuous path of good health and family harmony.

  • The Chrysanthemum (Kiku): Represents longevity, rejuvenation, and noble character. When painted on everyday objects it acted as a protective charm, wishing the diner a long, healthy life and prosperity.
